"The closest thing to audio marijuana" - 'The Aquarian'
Hailed as creators of "solid young rock" (Eli Wold, Senior Director of A&R at 'Blue Note Records'), ‘Wesley Jeremiah’ is often compared to 'Ryan Adams', 'Bright Eyes', and 'The Cold War Kids'.
In an odd twist of events leading up to the debut record, Wesley spent three months in China writing and recording new ideas, while Jeremiah did the same in England. Wesley's lyrics are often autobiographical; 'Gun Song' is about Wesley finding a pistol in his late father's sock drawer while 'Red Hands' tells recounts of his younger years as a petty thief whose only wish is to be believed. With songs that are simple, melodic, and raw, Wesley Jeremiah has arrived. -
